COMMISSIONS

I love commissions because the inspiration comes from you and brings me new and interesting energy for the work.

To create something bespoke that will become part of your life, home, workplace or a special gift for someone you love, is one of the greatest honours. It requires us to collaborate together so that the themes, tones, colours and materials will satisfy your heart’s desire. Once we have connected and agreed on these things, my task is to express it through my visual language and spontaneity!


THE COMMISSION PROCESS

1. It’s helpful if you can start by referencing a couple of my previous artworks that you like (from socials, website or in studio). What draws you to the work? What colours do you like (or don’t like!). Let me know roughly what size you are after. If you are unsure, we can discuss and I’ll help work that out.

2. I create a quote based on this information with an estimate for Shipping / Courier. 

3. I will discuss and show you the direction I’ll be heading in before I begin, so you are certain that you are happy with the vision and agree with the brief I’m working from.

4. Along the way I’ll send you a couple of little snippets so you remain part of the journey and this helps me to know I’m on the right path. Once completed I’ll share more photos (unless you like surprises) to ensure you’re happy with the finished product and if so, I’ll arrange for it to be on its way to you

PAYMENT & SCHEDULE

I will send you an invoice and require a 50% deposit before I order materials and begin to paint and the remainder is to be paid on completion of the artwork, prior to shipping. 

Timelines can vary, but ideally you need to allow 3 months for the work to be finished (but I’m happy to discuss any specific dates).
